Skyclad Observer

(Just got Steins;Gate visual novel! \o/ woop woop)

Is the past flying away from us? Is the future what I see ahead?
I know the observer among us will help us all reach the end

Whoever created the universe around you wanted everything to be absolute; if you start, you have to carry through
And that all suddenly blurs into obscurity; the universe screams and cries out for me
And now as a savior in front of the gate, the "end"'s no different from the start

Open your eyes
"Zero" being the past; "one" being the future; if you stop "now", then you could lose her
You can't go against theories and laws; it's just logic
Open your eyes
Meeting in front of me, immeasurable lines; making a choice towards torment
We don't even have proof that we still exist anymore; the look you're giving me in those steady eyes
"End it and rewind time"

The two hands of the clock spinning 'round as if to say "the timer's still on"
It's all up to the observer now; show the loopholes of the laws

Whoever decided that us humans should prevail made it so our knowledge could be frail; my wings are now melting in the gale
And that all is started without a second thought, a miracle that is all for naught
And now at the padlock in front of the gate, the "end"'s no different from the start

Open your eyes
Now at the speed of light, I start reaching for you; just follow the pulse of emotions
Leaping into what I do not know; it's just logic
Open your eyes
The universe still has many tricks up its sleeve; not everything must have a reason
And so we call every line in front of us endless, taking the power stretching out before us
"Restore what's been lost to time"

"Zero" being the past; "one" being the future
All right before my eyes, immeasurable lines

"Zero" being the past; "one" being the future; if you stop "now", then you could lose her
You can't go against theories and laws; it's just logic
Open your eyes
All right before my eyes, immeasurable lines; making a choice towards torment
We don't even have proof that we still exist anymore; the look you're giving me in those steady eyes
"End it and rewind time"

World's End Dancehall -- Miku Hatsune and Luka Megurine

(It had to happen at some point.)
On the line mixed with the truth and satire
Looking at the stairs beyond the gate
There is nothing good that I can see
Hey, you raise your hands, and let's take it from there

A clumsy dance, tripping over your feet
Atop the altar where you step and stumble
The stupor makes my eyes start to water
Don't you want to do it right here, right now?

A high-pitched voice that starts to fill the room
Gives us the reason to start moving our feet
Of course, there's nothing good that I can see
With all our strength, how 'bout we spit it all out?

The reason that we talk, then forget, then we move on
The reason that we cry, that we lie, then we're gone
Looking all the time, looking all the time, I could never find them

Wanting to scream while being shy
Wanting to laugh when you want to cry
All of these things never, ever seem to change!

With a hop and a step how about we dance?
Hidden away where we will do the one-two
Spinning until we can't see straight anymore
The end is meant for us to let ourselves go

Doesn't it feel like it all will fade away?
So how about we leave behind everything after?
Spinning, spinning, spinning, spinning round
Just like the spinning world beneath us

I stand by and watch it all go by
The race goes on and I will board the last train
There is nothing good that I can see
Hey, I'll raise my hands and let's take it from there

Everything around me all seems wrong
Like fate itself is trying to confuse me
A clumsy dance, tripping over our feet
With all our strength, how 'bout we let it all out?

The reason that we move and repeat all endlessly
The reason that we try stepping, stepping to the beat
Looking all the time, looking all the time, you will never find them

Wanting to dance when it's all a lie
Wanting to laugh when you want to cry
All of this selfishness will never, ever change!

All this pop needs some sense; shall we sing the meaning in?
Before the world becomes ashamed of our dance
The sound of my heart is beating, beating only for you
I still, I still haven't forgotten

Isn't the land just so pretty when seen from above?
From here, I can see the horizon
Surely nothing will ever change if I do this and so
I'll crawl forever on the cold ground

With a hop and a step how about we dance?
Hidden away where we will do the one-two
Spinning until we can't see straight anymore
The end is meant for us to let ourselves go

Doesn't it feel like it all will fade away?
So how about we leave behind everything after?
Goodbye, farewell, take care, and so long
I say to the disappearing world

Murasaki -- Miku Hatsune

(Since I've had this song stuck in my head for ages, figured I might as well.)

Just wait, please wait, don't go and take it your own way
This game's not okay, this game of teasing me all day

Dark and dim reflections in the mirror of my eyes
Life as a replacement in a withering disguise
If that's so then let's take this time to burn away the rest of my life

Hey, love me please, take my body until it rots from deep within
From my spirit to my freedom too, take it, take it, take it away!
Only your voice comes to me through the depths of the silence so dull
So call out my name please, call out my name please, call out my name please

Just wait, please wait, my true feelings will never change
With fate in frays, I'll let you cut it all away

Dim and vague relations that connect us from afar
Life as a replacement that has way too many scars
If that's so then let's take this love and take away the rest of my life

Hey, love is just a selfish desire that we hold in our souls
Whenever we cry or when we sigh, it's never meant for anyone
So listen, please, and take this love that both of our hearts seem to hold
And give it a name please, give it a name please, give it a name please

Meeting you was all there was, and now there's no way out because I'm at the end of the line
If you were to disappear, I'd gladly end my life, my dear, cause the world would start to die
So let's break the ice and not be shy

I would never let myself cry again, I decided not to
Anyone but you would look on through, just say that she has the right to
Women like me can be persistent even to the bitter end
A selfish desire, no reason required

So love me please, before you forget everything about me
From my body to my feelings too, take it, take it, take it away!
Only your voice comes to me through the depths of the silence so dull
So call out my name please, call out my name please, call out my name please

Gomen ne Iiko ja Irarenai (Sorry That I'm Not a Good Girl)

(877 pageviews, wow. I haven't been on here in a while.)

Before the chime that lets us all outside, I slip onto the grounds.
The grown-ups -- they're all staring daggers at me
Gossip, rumors, empty melodies; talking through the trees
Oh, winding road, take me far away, please

I don't have anything planned ahead; no purpose, I'm wandering instead
All I need to know is that I'm here
I don't care what warnings appear, they always slip right through my ears
Will you, will you, just let me go on through?

Sorry that I'm just a broken component of this school where conformity's rewarded
Sorry that I'll undo some buttons so that I can breathe
I'll choose the alley over the street, an empty dark passage, tempting and sweet
There are things I can't let anybody know; although, maybe if you just let me go
I'll tell you alone

Always, always, I have always seemed the best at everything
Even though I know it's so foolish to think
The messages these books are giving me are pulling all the strings
I think I'll go live away from these things

Anyway, I just don't get it, and I see no need to fret it
Cause nobody can ever stop me
Stop telling me what I should do; and just stop pitying me too
Just stop, please stop, just stop it with your pride!

I know that you're someone whose wishes and dreams are ripping along the edge of its seams
Which is why I could never be so 'beautiful" as you
The face of a jester shining by me; the sadistic smile gleaming brightly
Nobody can know the mask I've put on for you, it's true, but maybe if you follow through
I'll show you alone

You're the most stubborn person I've met, the least likely one for me to forget
Full of the pride that hypocrites cling to
But I have all of my friends behind me and in this cruel world friendship is key
Just stop, please stop, just please give me a break!
