Tabi no Tochuu (En Route)

(I actually made this translation so I could use it to fandub Tabi no Tochuu at first, but the fandub ended up sounding terrible, so I took the video off of Youtube and decided to post the translation on here.)

I was all alone, walking carelessly, en route on a journey

I was traveling to the world ahead, but my heart wouldn't beat

But, I know that now, when I take my leave

I can keep going on

Yes, when I met you on this winding street

You showed me the moon

The songs of travelers wandering on

Curious hymns, oh so new

I know I've missed the times when I couldn't hear too

But I was fine being with you

A creation of purest blue

I wonder if it still exists?

Shall we look for this distant view?

Going far beyond the wind

When the morning's don't change to noon

And the daylight loses its dew

When cloudy nights vanish from you

You will know the end is soon

I feel like you have never known comfort

I see it in your eyes

But those vivid hues still have flames to burn

Echoing your youth

Until I dash into this distant breeze

And the days whirl much too long

These flaming-red stars will surely remain true

From their start as fragments of blue

The harbors of east lands, ships and currents arriving at the sea

Around forests and towns, glittering beneath the towers of gold

Northern hills and shaking waters underneath the glistening moon

Give me your hand, let me see you

And hold my hand, if you feel true

What shall we see? Where to go to?

When it's just you and me

It will become what we once knew

Nostalgic worlds still without gloom

With soft noises, trailing perfume
